Shawn Folan

Shawn Folan is a strategic, growth-focused financial executive with deep experience in healthcare finance, multi-site operations, and sponsor-backed organizations. He brings a strong background in financial due diligence, transaction advisory, and enterprise financial leadership, with a proven ability to build scalable financial infrastructure and drive value creation. Prior to joining Sage Clinical RCM as Chief Financial Officer, Shawn served as CFO of Passion Dental, where he led the financial turnaround of a 52-site organization, and as Vice President of Finance at H2 Health, overseeing financial operations for a 280+ clinic network with more than $225 million in revenue. His earlier experience includes transaction advisory roles at RSM, CohnReznick, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he supported healthcare investments and complex financial transactions.

At Sage, Shawn leads the company’s financial strategy, capital planning, and operational functions to support scalable growth and long-term performance. He partners closely with executive leadership to deliver financial clarity, strengthen reporting and forecasting capabilities, and guide strategic decision-making across the organization. Known for his collaborative and results-driven approach, Shawn is passionate about enabling high-growth environments through disciplined financial management and actionable insights. Based outside of Boston, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and cooking.
